Oakley Design Ferrari 458 Italia

Oakley design has put together a tuned version of the Ferrari 458; that will be limited to only 5 examples. Mild tuning and exterior modifications are included in the package. Was this a god idea, or was it just a waste of time. But as far as we see it, it is one of the best tuning kits for the car yet...

Performance wise, the Ferrari produces 618bhp and 567Nm of torque compared to the standard 458's 560bhp and 540Nm. All this is due to very little ECU tweaks. Like the base Italia, aerodynamics and lightness are the main goals of the supercar, also like previous Oakley kits.

The new carbon-fiber front spoiler lip adds an extra of 45kg of downforce on the front axle at 240km/h (150mph). Other carbon fiber parts include a rook panel, the side mirrors, air vents, side skirts, a new rear diffuser and a rear spoiler with Gurney flap that adds 25kg of downforce, also at 240km/h (250mph). All these things are part of the upgraded aerodynamics package that is offered on the car. A titanium exhaust system with no bypass valve sheds also helps shed weight by 30kg. All these components help the car have a top speed of 330km/h (205mph) and a 0 to 100 km/h (62mph) acceleration of 3.0 seconds.

Finally, wheel wise, the vehicle has 20 inch OZ Racing wheels with 245/35ZR20 and 305/35ZR20 Pirelli Trofeos.
