2011 BMW 740i ready for Detroit 2010



America is getting it's first view of a 6-cylinder engine from BMW in many years. This engine is going to be put in Bimmer's 740i. With the 740iL, the car is going to be released at the 2010 Detroit Motor Show and will go on sale in the Spring of 2010. The car is going to be powered by a 3 liter twin-turbocharged inline-six engine that produces 315 horsepower and 330 lb-ft of torque. This engine will be coupled with a 6-speed automatic gearbox. To add to this excitement, the buyers will be able to choose many options and gadgets, including the M Sport, Driver Assistance, Luxury Seating, Rear Entertainment, and the BMW Individual Composition Package.
