The 2011 version of the BMW M5 has been rumoured this week. The car was put into consideration by a BMW website called BimmerFile. They put together several pieces of information from several sources. This is what they are almost certain about. The car will either feature a V8 or V10 engine, but a Twin-Turbo V8 is preferred. The engine will probably have a horsepower output of 570HP and torque is expected to be 500 lb-ft. This engine is currently used in the X5 M and X6 M, also from the German car maker. The most possible rumour is that the car will comprise the KERS System, used in the years of the BMW F1 race car. For now, the car is codenamed the F10 M5, but we will have to wait until 2011; it's launch date.
