2011 Corvette Tribute to 50th Anniversary of First Le Mans Win

General Motors has released a 2011 version of the Chevy Corvette, this one a Z06. It is to honour Corvette's 5oth anniversary of first Le Mans Win. The car has 50th Anniversary logo patch that dates from 1960 to 2010. The car is limited to one car and will be used as a fundraiser for NCM. It will serve as $300,000 in taxes, for NCM and will be sold for $85,000. The car features an Arctic White paint-job and has black stripes going down the middle of the tribute. The side mirrors are painted Cyber Gray, while the rims are matte black, making the car look very ferocious. Anyway, this is a great way to pay a tribute to 1960's Briggs Cunningham Corvette!

2010 Chevrolet Camaro SS Indianapolis 500 Pace Car

Indianapolis 500 gets every year a new special edition pace car. It has usually been Corvettes, but this year, the 2010 Camaro has gotten the honour. The car was first shown Friday at the Speedway's Hall of Fame Museum. The car is painted in orange metallic with a two white stripes coming down the middle. The Indianapolis 500 logo is printed on both doors of the car. An extra model is available: the stickshift version. The car features a L99 6.2 liter V8 engine producing 400 horsepower, while the stickshift model gets 426 horsepower LS3 engine. The car will make it's public debut at the Indianapolis Auto Show on December 26, 2009and will make it's race debut on May 30th, 2010, at the Indianapolis 500.

1969, 2006 and 2010 Camaros into one Camaro

What we have here is photos and a description of a 1969, 2006 and 2010 Camaro put together. What we mean is that some dude took styling from the 1969, 2006 and 2010 Camaros and put it into one Camaro. Incredible! Here is the description:

"This is a 1969 Danz Camaro SS concept car. I built the car in 2006. In 2006 the new Camaro was just a concept with no definite plans to go to production. I took a real 1969 Camaro and modified it to look somewhat like the 2006 concept Camaro.

Thinking that I would have the only one in the world if the Camaro never went to production. I combined the original 69 Camaro design with the 2006 concept Camaro design, with my own designs. Especially the hood scoop and rear spoiler design are my own. I gave GM pictures of my car in Jan 2007.

It appears that the 2010 SLP Camaro has a similar designed hood scoop and rear spoiler to my car. To power my car I went with a 427 small block with the vintage dual 4-barrel crossram manifold and carbs. I went in that direction because I wanted the legendary 427 cubic inch and also to use the vintage dual 4-barrel crossram. Backed with a 700 r transmission to a Ford 9" differential. GM confirms 2011 Camaro Convertible production

The Chevrolet Camaro has been lifted to a new level, because GM has given a green light to it's convertible version. The car is supposed to be in factories in the winter of 2011. The car is delayed about a year, because it was supposed to be in showrooms by 2010.

Lamborghini Reventon-style Camaro

This is total overkill. This Camaro is awesomely stylish, including some Lamborghini Reventon style to it. It will be powered by a 6.2. liter V8 engine producing more than 600 horsepower. We are not sure of performance yet, but we do know that it will probably be quick. It will rival the awesome Corvette ZR1, but will sell for half the price.

Chevy to release 5 Camaro concepts at SEMA

SEMA 2009 is approaching while Chevrolet is coming with 5 concepts that it will reveal. All having the same engine; a famous 3.6. liter direct-injection V6. The most catchy one is the green one shown above. It features the V6 engine while producing 425 horsepower. It's named after Jay Leno and is known as the 'Synergy'. This one features an extra aerodynamic kit and a cool graphic kit.

Tuning the Camaro at SEMA Part 2

Welcome to Part 2 of Tuning the Camaro at SEMA! This post's featured tuned up Chevrolet Camaro that will be revealed is the 2010 Lingenfelter Chevrolet Camaro SS. Tuned to perform 750 horsepower, it is amazingly stunning. It features a 7 liter LS7 V8. If you want another engine, you can pick the LS9. Some new additions were put on the Lingenfelter, like a new front fascia splitter, rocker extensions, carbon fiber grille, new hood with air extractors, rear deck lip and spoiler and rear fascia extension plus a set of 20-inch, 10-spoke alloy wheels shod in Pirelli 275/40ZR20 tires on the front and Pirelli 305/35ZR20 on the back.

Tuning the Camaro at Sema Part 1

You are wondering what toofastcv is up to right? We are opening a new two part segment including two tuned up Chevrolet Camaro that will be revealed at the 2009 SEMA Show next week in Las Vegas.

2010 Chevrolet Welcome to part one of Tuning the Camaro at SEMA. This part's tuned up Camaro is the YenkoCamaro Prototype. It's V8 engine features 600 horsepower. If we get in detail, it has the Yenko stripe package, official emblems and badging, retro-styled 22-inch billet aluminum wheels, a leather interior package with Yenko Super Car (sYc) embroidered headrests, sill plates and Yenko/SC embroidered floor mats. It also has a Tremec six-speed manual transmission gearbox.

Totally radical Camaro ALMS race car style!

We were surfing the web when we came upon a picture of a Chevrolet Camaro race car style for the American Le Mans Series. It was designed by Bo Zolland of Sweden's VizualTech. We hope you like the awesome images!

Tuning the Camaro, again

Many people have tuned up their Chevrolet Camaro, but this one is special. The 2010 Chevrolet Camaro KW Variant 3 is powered froma 3.6. liter V6 engine producing 306 horsepower and 273 lb-ft of torque. The car gives you a safe, smooth but fast ride while letting you handle it's 6-speed gearbox, available in either automatic or manual transmission.

Today, on gtspirit.com, Victor and I found a spyshot of the 2011-2012 Chevrolet Camaro convertible. Like we mentioned on the day we discovered the Camaro convertible, it will be available in two versions.

Camaro convertible ready for 2009 SEMA Show

This coming November, Chevrolet will be releasing the all-new Camaro convertible. Not many specs are know but prices are finalised: $22,680 for the base LS V6 and $33,745 for the 2SS V8. It will be released at the 2009 SEMA Auto Show, like we said, this November.

2010 Camaro Revealed around the world

GM debuted the 2010 Chevy Camaro in L.A., Detroit, and even Australia. Each time it was revealed with splendor and much applause from fans eager to see it in all its glory. GM was happy to document every moment of the cars revealing.
The new Camaro posed for the camera with a second generation model, two third generation models, a fourth gen and a very cherry 1969 Camaro SS owned by reigning V8 Supercar champion Garth Tander.
