2012 Mercedes SLS AMG Roadster

After tons of spyshots and rumours, Mercedes-Benz has officially and finally revealed the Roadster version of the SLS AMG.

A 6.3 liter V8 engine that produces 563bhp and 650Nm of torque powers the car and is coupled to a a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission, which helps the car to accelerate from 0 to 100km/h in just 3.7 seconds and hit a top speed of 317km/h. The roadster features a three-ply soft top that can be raised or lowered in just eleven seconds at a maximum speed of 50km/h.

The gullwing model has already thrilled sports car fans all over the world, and now the convertible version is bound to cause a sensation.

Mercedes-Benz SLK AMG 2012

A newly designed SLK AMG will hit the market in February of 2012 and the stor under the hood will be a 372-bhp V6 twin-turbo, it has massage seat and the most interesting of all, it does the 0-60mph in only 4 seconds. The customers will have to pay 89 000$ for the German sportscar. It's immense torque and power will make it a big competitor the new Nissan 370Z and it's brother: Mercedes-Benz SL550 2011.

New Mercedes M class spoted

Ok, the reason why we say it is so good is because we are judging by Mercedes' reputation, almost all of their new cars are good. The reason why we are saying that is because, unlike the other spy shots where we had a little bit of info on the car, on this one, we have NOTHING about it! All we have are the pictures. There are some rumors that say that it is going to be Mercedes' new M class. We will obviously keep you updated on the car.

Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Cormeum

Mansory added to their Geneva Auto Salon lineup by displaying their Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG tuning kit that they call the 'Cormeum'. The name was picked personally by Kourosh Mansory, inspirations coming from the Vincero Veyron. The car is limited to only 15 examples, while light-weight materials help save 90kg.

LED lights where added to the exterior package, while the new front skirt supplies the enlarged cooler that propels the air out of the new bonnet. Side skirts make the two-seater look even lower and longer, while Cormeum extends by 66 millimetres at the front axle and 84 millimetres at the rear axle. The rear apron has been exchanged and a race diffuser renders additional downforce. A rear spoiler with carbon flaps was also added.

Forged wheels measure 9×20 inches with 265/30er tyres at the front and 11×21 inches with 295/25er tyres at the rear axle. The tyres are provided by Michelin. Due to new springs and dampers, the Cormeum’ s center of gravity is 20mm lower than the basic model.

For performance, the car got a power increase to 660hp and a maximum torque of 4,850 rpm. Mansory is working an another package with a tune up to 800hp.

For interior styling, the Cormeum features a newly designed centre console, developed sports steering wheel, aluminium pedals and many more real carbon applications.

Pagini C9!!!!!!

It has been revealed that Pagini, the Italian car maker, will make a new car called the C9! We all know that in the past, and now, that Pagini have been using engines from Mercedes-Benz to power their ferocious cars. Well now they have announced that with the all-new C9, they won't be using an engine that is already used by a Mercedes. But they will still have an engine from the Mercedes tuning company: AMG. They say the engine will be enormous! So, just to sum that all up, Pagini will have a big engine in their new car that will be designed by AMG to fit Pagini's demands. We can't wait to see what this will make!!! By the way, did you all notice that the C9 has 5 exhausts?!?!?!

LA Show: Mercedes-Benz CLS 63 AMG

Another interesting car revealed at this year's LA Show was the second generation Mercedes CLS 63 AMG. The car will feature the previous 6.2 liter engine, to the new 5.5 liter biturbo V8, developing 544 horsepower and 800Nm. The AMG option will boost the power to 571hp and 900Nm of torque. New large AMG wheels and LED lamps, a smaller diameter steering wheel, new paddle shifters and carbon fiber trim. Price is unknown, but stay tuned on Toofastcv.

Mercedes' SL Series overview

Hello Toofastcv fans. Today will be reviewing Mercedes-Benz' SL63 and SL65; the German automaker's attempt to best their rivals, therefore, be at the top o their category.

Mercedes has just recently launched their program for their 2011 SL65. The car's name was hose by it's engine displacement; 6.3 liter on the AMG V8 it used to produce a good 525hp, with a lot of torque that can be achieved at 200rpm. The engine has 32 valves, and it produces 10 more horses than the engine it replaces, a supercharged 5.5 liter V8, used in the previous SL55. The car's performance has also been upgraded. The car can reach 60mph in 4.4 seconds, thanks to the new AMG-developed Speed-shift MCT gearbox. Top speed is reached at 155mph. Both Coupe and Convertible versions are available.

But, Mercedes didn't stop there. They created another SL; this timeworn a bigger and more powerful engine. They called it the SL65. The storm under the hood is a 6 liter V12 engine, of the highest quality. The result: 612 horsepower and 738 lb-ft of torque. The car also features a second-generation Active Body Control (ABC) to help suspension. Mercedes has coupled the powertrain to a 5-speed automatic transmission gearbox that helps the car reach 62mph in 4.2 seconds. Top speed can exceed up to 155mph. But, the german automaker' has revealed a new version; the Black Series, focused on reducing weight, improving aerodynamics and performance. The car weighs 250kg less than the original version. The new air intakes in the front resemble the SL550's. Finally, we have performance. The car has the same 6 liter V12, but is capable of producing 670hp, as well as 100Nm of torque. 100 km/h is achieved in 3.9 seconds and 200 km/h in 11.0. Top speed is electronically limited to 320km/h (200mph).

Hamann Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG

Hamman has finished their version of the SLS AMG Gullwing. Remember when we showed you the teaser photo of the car; well, the beast has been revealed. 563 horses of pure pleasure.

Hamman has updated a few things. These include a 21 inch wheel set, with light alloy wheels that fit 9.0Jx21 at the front a 11.0Jx21 at the rear and are coupled with 245/30 ZR21 and 295/25 ZR21 tires. Other upgrades include a suspension enhancement that makes the car lower 30mm, and a new stainless steel exhaust system with twin 90mm tail pipes on each side.

Another kit is believed to be coming soon, including aerodynamic improvements, as well as performance.

Powerful C-class

Mercedes-Benz UK has come up with an exclusive c-class that is more powerful than the c 63 AMG! It is called the C-class DR 520. The engine in the car is a V8 producing 513 BHP which allows it to go up to 62 mph in only 4.1 seconds. It has a limited top speed of 187 mph. The problem is that you will probably never see one because Mercedes UK is planning to sell only 20 cars! It costs 63,680 euros.

Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG E-Cell Leaked

Mercedes-Benz has launched leaks for it's future SLS AMG E-Cell; an electric version of the SLS AMG. The car is supposed to come out in 2013, and as Mercedes promises, will be the worl`'s first ever all-electric supercar. Several photos and two videos were leaked each showing the vehicle wearing a very unusual colour that Benz calls ‘AMG lumilectric magno’!

As for a powertrain, the car will be powered by by four electric motors situated at each wheel and by lithium polymer batteries located behind the cockpit and down the center tunnel. This will make power rise to 519 horsepower and 649 lb-ft of torque. Therefore, a 0 to 60 mph acceleration will be done in 4 seconds flat. Other design specs include a new rear diffuser to produce more downforce, a multi-link front suspension with push-rod dampers is also now necessary at the front due to the extra space taken up by the front electric motors.
