McLaren Experimental Prototypes spied

If your talking about a hot car, there is the MP-4 12C. If you are talking about future hot cars, there is McLaren's XP8 and XP10.

What? Both experimental Projects are sure to wait for cars from McLaren that will come in the future. They will have a new gearbox and a twin-turbocharged engines. These are not their official names.

And plus, they were actually caught testing in Spain this past week.

The End of an Era

Mercedes and McLaren released the news this past week that they are finishing the final models of the SLR Stirling Moss. The whole SLR story began in 2004 with the introduction of the swing-wing Coupé continuing the story of the legendary SLR racing sports cars of the 1950s. Five variants were made; two coupés, two roadster versions and the special Stirling Moss. Over the years, 2000 SLR were produced, and only 75 of them are the limited convertible version. But, the heritage will not end just yet. Owners of the SLR today will get a membership ticket to the SLR CLUB. This is an exclusive community, that you can still race and drive your SLR, even when production has stopped. Farewell famous SLR!

You all-know know McLaren and it`s new MP4-12C right? Well, I found a next-gen MP4-12C: the LM5. Powered by a BMW M5/M6 5 liter V10 engine, the car has super radical styling. Future models will probably have McLaren V12 engines.

You all know the new and hot McLaren MP4-12C right. Well, McLaren is already planning for a converible version! The McLaren MP4-12C Spider! We are not sure about specs but we are almost sure that it will be totally sporty and exeptionally fast!

McLaren redesigns look of P11 supercar

McLaren was not happy with the designs for the P11 supercar and have told the team to take scratch the whole thing and to start fresh and with a whole new look. The new styling sheif will be Frank Stephenson who has designed cars for Fiat, Ferrari, Mini, and BMW.

Stephenson will join McLaren to redesign the family of supercars that McLaren plans to put into production in 2009. “The basic engineering layout is fixed, but the styling is still open,” said one source.

This past year, McLaren has not made many cars, but they are back in business with the all new McLaren MP4-12C. It will challenge the world`s best sportscars. The car has many Formula 1 features. Specs are yet to come so stay tuned on toofastcv for specs!
