Lamborghini Sesto Elemento Concept

Even before the LP Performante was revealed, Lamborghini revealed it's Sesto Elemento concept, at the Paris Auto Show. This car shocked the automotive world, not only because of it's beautifulness, but also because of the specs it has. Let us explain.

This car is the key to Lamborghini's future. The car is special, because it will compete with the Bugatti Veyron, in many ways. First of all, the 0-100 speed of the monster is 2.5 seconds, beating already tons of Ferraris, Maseratis, Porsches and the ones of it's own kind; the Italian Raging Bull. The car weighs only 999 kilograms, and what helps it is Lamborghini's favourite CFRP technology. The car also uses a V10 engine, producing 570hp, that is coupled to the same gearbox and the Superleggera. Top speed is also identical to the Superleggera's. It has also been revealed that the concept will be for track use only.

Finally, the car will be limited to 20 units, each costing 3.5 million dollars US.

BMW Gran Coupe Concept

This week's Beijing Auto Show has brought lots of surprises to the automotive world. Well this time, BMW is the one that has surprised us all; then have revealed the new Gran Coupe Concept.

The car is based on the previous BMW CS Concept and the 6 Series, even though the car may be seeing production in one or two years with '8 Series' on the hood. The car will join the Aston Martin Rapide-Porsche Panamera rivalry, also playing against the Mercedes-Benz CLS and the Audi A7.

The car is only 1400mm high. That's why BMW says the car has "striking dynamic proportions", "sporty, flat silhouette" and "sculptural shaping" that fuse "the exclusivity of a Gran Turismo with the fascination of a high-performance sports car".
