Lamborghini's New Powerhouses

Lamborghini Gallardo LP 570-4 Super Trofeo Stradale

One of the latest machines out of Automobili Lamborghini's Factory is their so called ''limited edition'' 570-4 Super Trofeo Stradale, another of the 570-4 series. The car has pretty much the same amount of horsepower as it's brothers, the Spyder Performante and Superleggera.

Lamborghini says it's the most extreme Gallardo ever, but surprisingly you can use it on the road. The car is based on the very successful Blackpain Super Trofeo (the enormous rear spoiler!), and was revealed on September 12, 2011 at IAA Frankfurt Auto Show. Available only in the historical ''Rosso Mars'' paint job, just 150 copies of this Lambo will be built.

Under the hood the supercar sports a V-10 engine, providing 561 horsepower and 400 lb-ft of torque. Coupled to it is a 6-speed manual transmission gearbox, providing an acceleration to 100 km/h in 3,4 seconds. In addition, the car packs the punch with a top speed of 320 km/h, just 5 km/h less than the Superleggera.

Lamborghini Gallardo LP 550-2 Spyder

The guys over at Sant'Agata Bolognese have focused on a rear axle driving style and reworking the dynamics of the LP-550-2 Spyder, so that the convertible version of Valentino Balboni's supercar is just perfect.

A light electronic hard-top helps the LA Auto Show revealed car weigh an impressive 3,351 pounds. Due to this, acceleration to 100km/h is done in 4,2 seconds, while top speed is reached at 319 km/h.

Such great acceleration and speed achieved in a roofless car is thanks to a 550 horsepower V10 engine and a 6-speed gearbox, providing optimal performance.

Lamborghini Aventador Roadster Confirmed via US EPA Organization

Thanks to the USA's fueleconomy.gov, we now know for sure that there will be a roadster version of the Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4, debuting as early as the beginning of next year.

Lamborghini has not officially confirmed the open-top model, but this is what we saw under 2012 Lamborghini models via the US EPA Organization: the Lamborghini Aventador Coupe and the Lamborghini Aventador Roadster.

The Aventador Roadster will get an EPA fuel-economy rating of 11/17 mpg (city/highway) or 13 mpg combined. It's suggested that a 6.5 liter V12 engine producing 690hp linked to a seven-speed gearbox will be under the hood.

We can expect to see the LP700-4 Roadster in Geneva in March 2012 or in Paris in September 2012.

Aventador Renderings Part 4: Aventador Polizia

Hey, wait! Remember two weeks ago when we posted a three-part segment of rendered Lamborghini Aventadors, well we are adding one more part to it, because this rendering deserves some attention.

As you might already know, a few Raging Bulls have been transformed into police cars in Italy. They are called Lamborghini Polizia. Anyway, the guys over at Milanno Artworks and CarreraDesign have worked together to create this Aventador Polizia.

Some additions are a defibrillator and refrigerated container for the transport of organs. LED technology police lights are hidden under the air intakes and on the dashboard.

Enjoy the photos!

Aventador Renderings Part 3: Tuned by Milano

This last post about Lamborghini Aventador renderings will probably be the most interesting one of the three.

Recently, a forum member at GtSpirit.com found photos of a tuned Aventador parked in Italy. According to the photos, the car has rims measuring 20 or 21 inches, different side skirts and a lower rear spoiler. These photos look like the same cars that were photographed in this mysterious series of photos posted on a picture-sharing website.

To add the suspense, there was a photo posted on exoticsonroad.com showing the rear spoiler moving upwards or downwards on the German Autobahn. There is also an available video here (click on this last sentence).

Aventador Renderings Part 2: WildSpeed

WildSpeed is know world-wide for their realistic renderings of cars. They are one of the most known forumers on TeamSpeed.com.

They have recently spiced up the Lamborghini Aventador to give it a more aggressive look. They added side air inlets, massive rear wing and an air scoop on the roof.

They have also rendered the Aventador to be topless, and you can view those photos by clicking on this last sentence!

Aventador Renderings Part 1: LP800-4 SV

Welcome to our 3-part segment of rendered Lamborghini Aventadors. In these posts, we will be showing you what we think are the coolest ideas of differently-looking Lambos. Enjoy!

Our first renderings come the from the all-famous guys over at Top Gear, who decided to show the automotive world what the Lamborghini SV and Aventador would look like; combined! The pictures are the work Top Gear’s rendering guy, Dougie Wood. He calls the car the LP800-4 SV.

The two cars are extremely exotic, the SV producing 670bhp and the Aventador; 789bhp.

Enjoy the photos!

Oakley Design Lamborghini LP760-2 Aventador

We are seriously considering this as the nicest tuned Lamborghini we have seen in a while.

Oakley Design recently revealed their tuning package for the 2012 Lamborghini LP700-4 Aventador, limited to only 5 cars.

Added to the car is an advanced suspension upgrade and other technologies helping to reduce weight by 85kg. Other lightweight materials used are several carbon fiber elements and ultra-light, forged alloy wheels. Each wheel weighs around 4.0kg less per corner than the factory alloys. The factory 255/35ZR19 front and 355/30ZR20 Pirelli PZero tyres are retained, but the wheel width increases from 9.0J to 9.5 inch in front, and from 12.0J to 13.0J at the rear. These help grip when in 'Corsa' mode.

Developed in the MIRA wind tunnel, the rear Gurney flap also helps with stability and grip when driving.

The exterior body shell is completely made of carbon fiber, while the two plastic front bumpers, two rear bumper trims and side air intakes located behind the doors have been extended to help with cooling.

760bhp with 745Nm of torque are the manufacturer's claims, with an ECU remap optimising a larger airbox, intake feed pipe diameter and a titanium exhaust system that will also save over 30kg.

227mph Edo Competition Lamborghini Murcielago LP750

Edo Competition's line-up of high-performance cars has just been added to by the addition of the Lamborghini Murcielago LP750; a tuned version of Lambo's LP640.

The vehicles' 6.5-liter V12 produces 750 horsepower 740 Nm of torque to all four wheels. The 40 kg lighter rear-wheel drive version of the Lamborghini also includes modified cylinders, new intake system, hand-made manifold, revised air ducts, new free flow air filters, a high performance exhaust system, with plasma coated stainless steel, and a re-calibrated ECU.

It's most notable spec, is that it can reach a top speed of 365 km/h or 227 mph. At the track, it was able to reach 100 km/h or 62 mph in just 3.1 seconds, 200 km/h in 9.7 seconds, and 300 km/h in 24.5 seconds.

A car that reaches a top speed of over 300km/h needs a serious aerodynamic package. That's why Edo Competition revised the rear wing and added an adjustable lip spoiler for extra balance and stability.

The car finally includes a set of lightweight alloy rims, measuring 18-inches at the front, and 19-inch wheels at the back. These come wrapped in high performance tires sized 265/35, and 345/30 respectively.

Pricing is yet to come.

Lamborghini Estoque!

Hey guys! Lamborghini has been working on sketches for their new car: the Estoque. If you look at the sketches, you can see, like all Lmaborghinis, that this would definitely be a car, that is fast. We have NO details on this beast whatsoever, but we DO have the sketches. It is supposedly coming next month in a Paris Auto Show. The only problem about this is that the sketches and details were all found on Ferrarichat, which is a chat thing except it is all on cars. Bottom-line is that the sketches might be fake. I guess we will see next month!

New Lambo!!!

Hey guys, once again, sorry for not having written a post in a long time. But hopefully, this posts will make up for it! Lamborghini have shown a picture of their brand-new Lamborghini Aventador to the web. The details we know for now is that it has a 6.5 liter V12 developing 690 HP which, as car fans know, is A LOT! To top those amazing statistics, the car goes from 0 mph to 62 mph (100 km/ph) in 2.9 seconds and it's top speed reaches 350 km/ph (217 mph)!!! If you think THAT is amazing, wait till you see the desing: (the picture is on the top of the post)

Lamborghini Sesto Elemento Concept

Even before the LP Performante was revealed, Lamborghini revealed it's Sesto Elemento concept, at the Paris Auto Show. This car shocked the automotive world, not only because of it's beautifulness, but also because of the specs it has. Let us explain.

This car is the key to Lamborghini's future. The car is special, because it will compete with the Bugatti Veyron, in many ways. First of all, the 0-100 speed of the monster is 2.5 seconds, beating already tons of Ferraris, Maseratis, Porsches and the ones of it's own kind; the Italian Raging Bull. The car weighs only 999 kilograms, and what helps it is Lamborghini's favourite CFRP technology. The car also uses a V10 engine, producing 570hp, that is coupled to the same gearbox and the Superleggera. Top speed is also identical to the Superleggera's. It has also been revealed that the concept will be for track use only.

Finally, the car will be limited to 20 units, each costing 3.5 million dollars US.

AMV Design Lamborghini Gallardo LP 540 Green Goblin

Canadian tuner AMV have worked with Lamborghini to create a really nice tuning kit for the LP560-4.

The kit includes a four-piece front bumper with carbon fiber add-on parts, enhanced side cooling blade, rear carbon fiber exhaust vent with F1 styled diffuser and custom five-spoke wheel design. Te most eye catching this about this car is, the wheels, the colour, but mostly it's name. And hey, it's Canadian!

Is this a hint that the kit will have a horsepower loss in the future, or even bigger, that Lambo will actually make a LP version, with the 540 name.

Well, stay tuned, as always, because the automotive world has many surprises. Toofastcv covers everything.

Lamborghini Gallardo LP 570-4 Spyder Performante

The Los Angeles Auto Show has brought many surprises. Among many big names like the Porsche Cayman R, Chevy Camaro 2012 and 2012 BMW 6 Series, Lamborghini has released the Gallardo LP 570-4 Spyder Performante; which is the drop top version of the Superleggera. The car has merely better performance and weight attributes, so let's see if it lives up to it's name.

First if all, the car features a 5.2 V10 engine that can produce a 570 horsepower storm under the hood. 100km/h is reached in 3.9 seconds and a top speed of 324km/h (201mph).

As I said, the car is lighter, thanks to CFRP technology, and the use of several carbon fiber components inside and outside. The Sant' Agata Bolognese engineers reduced the cars weight by an impressive 65 kilograms (143lbs). So, the scale says 1485kg (3274lbs). Finally, the car is 4.39 meters long, 1.90 m wide and 1.18 m high.

As you can see, the car was redesigned outside. Lamborghini Centro Stile included a newly designed front bumper, a fully covered underbody, new sill elements and a redesigned diffuser four large tailpipes. A rear spoiler is also available.
