Porsche Boxster Spyder official!

Later this year, the Los Angeles is going to rocking with cool new cars, including the now official Porsche Boxster Spyder. Selling for Euro price of €63,404 (Germany), worldwide deliveries will start in February 2010. The car is rooted in the 550 Spyder. It will feature Porsche new PDK gearbox and Porsche’s version of the launch control system. Mr. PDK helps the Boxster reach 100 km/h in 4.8. seconds. Top speed will be limited to 267 km/h (166 mph). 310 horsepower on the Spyder is a 10 hp improvement over the Boxster S.

Crazy Crash: Ferrari Novitec 16M Scuderia Spider

A few weeks ago, there was a Ferrari 430 Scuderia crash that we didn't mention on toofastcv. This time, it is a Ferrari Novitec 16M Scuderia Spider. The driver was a Serbian Ferrari collector. The accident happened on the Autobahn from Mindelheim to Stetten, Bavaria, Southern Germany. The Serb was testing for the first time his new Ferrari 16M. His passenger was seriously injured while the 16M was totalled! The total damage cost will be around $440,000.

Chevy to release 5 Camaro concepts at SEMA

SEMA 2009 is approaching while Chevrolet is coming with 5 concepts that it will reveal. All having the same engine; a famous 3.6. liter direct-injection V6. The most catchy one is the green one shown above. It features the V6 engine while producing 425 horsepower. It's named after Jay Leno and is known as the 'Synergy'. This one features an extra aerodynamic kit and a cool graphic kit.

Fastest car!!!

AS you all know, the Bugatti Veyron is the fastest road-legal car ever tested. Or is it? No. It is not a new car, it is actually a car made in 1938. It is a Mercedes. It is called the Mercedes-Benz W125 rekordwagen. Its top speed, believe it or not, is 268.5 mph (432.7 km/ph)!!! How does it go up to that speed? Because it is super lite and it is powered by a 726 hp V12 engine!!! Although, the Bugatti is still the fastest because the Mercedes is only the fastest car that ever went on a public road even though it is not road-legal. My point is that the Mercedes is the fastest CAR ever but it is not road-legal.

Old Enzo or New Enzo????

After Bugatti, Ferrari has fallen victim to the online world and its intricate system of knowledge sharing and leaking, with details released about a new model, which has provided us with some juicy news on the FX70.

If this isn’t a sophisticated attempt at viral marketing, a document leaked from the company reveals some details of the Enzo. Take a deep breath because it goes like this: an alluminium V8 engine, carbon fibre body, twin-clutch, seven-speed shift with gear change time at only 50 milliseconds.

Here is a little more info about it:
In addition to: 794hp of power and 772Nm of torque, 2.7 seconds to reach 100km/hr, and 390 km/hr of top speed. The overall weight is about 1,300 kg. We’re already dreaming, though probably won’t ever get past that with a price tag of between 1.2 and 1.4 million euros. Intriguing aspects of the secret document include the signature of Montezemolo, which is destined for the Ferrari Beijing store. Could it be that an order is already in from Asia for the latest Ferrari marvel…?

Porsche detunes Boxster and Cayman in Norway

Porsche has recently detuned it's Cayman and Boxster. The area in which they did this is in Norway. The Cayman is detuned down to 211 horsepower while the original horsepower was 265 horsepower. The Boxster was also tuned down to 211 horsepower wile the original version has 255 hp. The Boxster sells for $15,621 while the Cayman sells for $18,819.

50th Anniversary Corvette Stingray

It has been now 50 years exactly that the famous Chevrolet Stingray was released in 1959.

The C7 will arrive soon so the new Stingray will have not much time to get seen. But of course of it's popularity, it will be seen over a thousand times a day! This car features scissor-style doors, ergonomic seats, a rear-view camera and touchscreen features. Which is not available in the previous Corvette C6 series. Ed Welburn, vice president of GM Global Design, said:

''By giving my creative team the freedom to design no-holds-barred vision concepts, it helps them push boundaries and look at projects from different perspectives.''

Tuning the Camaro at SEMA Part 2

Welcome to Part 2 of Tuning the Camaro at SEMA! This post's featured tuned up Chevrolet Camaro that will be revealed is the 2010 Lingenfelter Chevrolet Camaro SS. Tuned to perform 750 horsepower, it is amazingly stunning. It features a 7 liter LS7 V8. If you want another engine, you can pick the LS9. Some new additions were put on the Lingenfelter, like a new front fascia splitter, rocker extensions, carbon fiber grille, new hood with air extractors, rear deck lip and spoiler and rear fascia extension plus a set of 20-inch, 10-spoke alloy wheels shod in Pirelli 275/40ZR20 tires on the front and Pirelli 305/35ZR20 on the back.

2011 Audi R8 RS Clubsport Spied!

This is awesome, the best car news for a long time now; Audi will release a new R8 model in 2011. It will be called the 2011 Audi R8 RS Clubsport. The recently spied R8 V10 Clubsport will have a V10 engine from the Lamborghini Gallardo Balboni. The RS Clubsport will have the same V10 engine, producing 560 horsepower instead of 525 hp.
