Dodge releases various Vipers



Dodge revealed yesterday three new models of the Viper, to represent it's final year of production. OK, so one of the Vipers revealed was the 2010 SRT10, that Dodge is adding some new colors; Toxic Orange Pearl Coat and Bright Silver Metallic Clear Coat. The car has also improved in high-speed acceleration and higher straightaway speeds. Both Roadster and Coupe models are limited to a total production of 500, while each car will be powered up by a 8.4 liter V10 producing 600 horsepower and 560 lb-ft of torque. The car has a limited top speed of 325 km/h and 96 km/h comes under 4 seconds.

The other model revealed that is not a special edition version Viper is the 2010 SRT10 ACR, this is the one who made the famous Laguna Seca lap record last week. The car has numerous upgrades, including
a new short-throw shifter and a redesigned rear wing profile and end plates. The Viper also features a new fifth gear ratio result and a top speed increase of 4 mph, 184 mph (296 km/h).

Two special edition Vipers were revealed yesterday on the first day of the LA Show. Here they are:

First of is the 1:33 version. This model is to celebrate the Laguna Seca lap record. It features a unique two-tone Black Clear Coat / Red Clear Coat exterior color scheme which is the exact opposite of the original ACR model. Interior styling includes piano black console bezels with red gauge highlights complemented with red accent stitching in the seats. Only 33 cars will be produced.

Finally, we have the Vooodoo-Edition Viper ACR. Thsi one receives an all Black Clear Coat exterior with a Graphite Driver's Stripe outlined in red. Only 10 models will be produced.
